INTERVARSITY CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP

The Black Hawk College chapter of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship vision is for students from diverse backgrounds to gather around a common faith and minister together. In doing so we emphasize a common commitment to the following goals which are shared by InterVarsity chapters across the world.

To build collegiate fellowships characterized by meaningful relationships.

To nurture one another in spiritual growth.

To impact our classmates with the gospel of Jesus Christ and evangelize the campus through the power of his spirit.

As a nondenominational organization InterVarsity is not directly affiliated to any other specific church establishment. However, we do distinctly support the following Evangelical Christian Fellowship theological doctrines.

The unique Divine inspiration, entire trustworthiness and authority of the Bible.

The Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The necessity and efficacy of the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ for the redemption of the world, and the historic fact of His bodily resurrection.

The presence and power of the Holy Spirit in the work of regeneration.

The expectation of the personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
