The Black Hawk College chapter of Inter Varsity Christian Fellowship
vision is for students from diverse backgrounds to gather around a 
common faith and minister together. In doing so we emphasize a common 
commitment to the following goals which are shared by InterVarsity 
chapters across the world.

          * To build collegiate fellowships characterized by  
            meaningful relationships.

          * To nuture one another in spiritual growth.

          * To impact our classmates with the gospel of Jesus Christ
            and evangelize the campus through the power of his
            spirit.

As a nondenominational organization InterVarsity is not directly 
affiliated to any other specific church establishment. However, we do
distinctly support the following evangelical Christian fellowship  
theological doctrines.

          * The unique Divine inspiration, entire trustworthiness and
            authority of the Bible.  

          * The Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. 

          * The necessity and efficacy of the substitutionary death 
            of Jesus Christ for the redemption of the world, and the 
            historic fact of His bodily resurrection. 

          * The presence and power of the Holy Spirit in the work of 
            regeneration. 

          * The expectation of the personal return of our Lord Jesus 
            Christ.
